At The Center for Urban Affairs and Community Services, you will find one location capable of handling all your applied research and program evaluation needs. Often called CUACS, The Center for Urban Affairs and Community Services also provides technical assistance and related support for many public sector agencies and programs. We welcome you to CUACS, and look forward to assisting you with your research needs.

Founded in 1966, in response to the demands of urbanization, CUACS has become a vital part of the extension and public service program of North Carolina State University. CUACS serves the state of North Carolina, its municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and other colleges and universities.
